1. STP Basemap
We start with a single, verified view of all sewage treatment plants and their discharge points in the area of interest.
2. Optical Monitoring
Using historical and recent optical imagery we assess visible activity around plants and in downstream reaches, and detect obvious pollution plumes.
3. Radar Validation
Radar data helps to see through clouds and at night, which is essential during monsoon season and for year-round coverage. We use this data to validate activity patterns and refine our indicators.
4. Urban Planning & Siting
By enriching the basemap with population, elevation and infrastructure layers, we support strategic decisions about where new plants or capacity upgrades should go.
5. Compliance Monitoring
Once the monitoring pipeline is in place, we provide regular updates on plant activity and suspected underperformance, presented in a way that inspectors and managers can act upon.
6. ODF++ Readiness & Mission Support
By combining mapping and monitoring, we provide readiness views for missions such as ODF++ and related wastewater targets. These views highlight where action is needed before certification.
