About Anora

Anora combines satellite data, wastewater expertise and strategy to help cities and states understand how their ecosystems and infrastructure are really functioning – and what to do next.

Mission

Our mission is to help reduce the large share of wastewater that remains untreated and continues to affect rivers, groundwater and communities. We do this by providing an independent, geospatial perspective on where treatment plants are, how they perform and where new capacity is needed.

Approach

We build a geospatial “backbone” of treatment plants, discharges and affected ecosystems, and keep it up to date over time. On top of that backbone we develop monitoring, risk indicators and planning tools that slot into existing programmes instead of competing with them.

The result is a simple set of products that can be used for planning new plants, prioritising inspections, and preparing certification and mission reporting.

Team

Anora brings together people with backgrounds in remote sensing, treatment plant operations, legal strategy and reporting. For each engagement we assemble a focused team that matches the questions at hand.
